Eastbourne and Wealden’s new Coast & Country Walking Festival returns for the third year - this time with over 60 walks!
Featuring a large variety of guided walks - most of which are free, the nine day festival will showcase the sights, sounds and tastes of the South Downs National Park, Sussex Weald and stunning Eastbourne coastline.
Walks range from short family walks to strenuous day-long hikes including historical, literary, healthy and Nordic Walks.
This year's festival will feature two walks celebrating the 950th anniversary of the Norman landings and a walk concluding with a book signing!
The Coast & Country Walking Festival is a partnership project involving many organisations and individuals. Organised by both Eastbourne Borough Council and Wealden District Council.
For more information on the walks - grab your programme from the Tourist Information Centre.
Many walks are free of charge, however booking is required on all walks. For more information on booking a place, visit the festival website.
