The Brayscroft is situated at the fashionable end of the seafront, a short walk from the promenade. Close to the sea, Downs and town in the Lower Meads area. The house is beautifully decorated and filled with antique furniture and original paintings. Bedtime is a treat in crisp linen sheets, duvets or blankets. Very high standards prevail from spotless towels to delicious breakfasts including homemade marmalade & bread. A real joy to stay here. Totally non-smoking.

From the A259 from Seaford, go through East Dean. At the top of the hill turn right and descend into Eastbourne. Take the first right after the mini-roundabout into St John's Road, at the end of which you are in full view of the sea. Brayscroft is 4 houses down on the right. Alternatively, take signs for the seafront from the A22, take right after the Grand Hotel, up an incline and turn into South Cliff Avenue on the right.
