Compton House is located within 2 minutes' walk of the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club and several other courses are within 10 minutes' drive. The Old Town area of Eastbourne is close to Compton House and boasts what is reputed to be the oldest hostelry in Britain - the Lamb Inn. In addition, Gildredge Park, located directly behind Compton House, has many activities available including tennis, bowls, children's play areas and two cafes.
