Eastbourne Sunshine Carnival at Eastbourne Seafront

We are delighted to announce that the Carnival will be returning on Saturday the 25th of May 2013.

Stephen Lloyd MP has once again appointed David Cooper as the Pageant Master for the event.

Last year’s Carnival was a great success, with more than 1,500 walkers taking part and with some 25,000 fans and supporters. We are planning to make this year’s Carnival even bigger and better! A number of organisations have already signed up demonstrating the continued support for the event and we were very pleased with the messages of support we received after last year's Carnival.

The theme for this year's Carnival is “Sussex by the Sea”. The route of the Carnival will be from Fishermans Green to the Western Lawns.

Live music and entertainment throughout the day.

Route: From Fishermans Green to the Western Lawns

Road Closures:

- Royal Parade will be closed to traffic from Sovereign Centre Roundabout to Beach Road from 14:30

- Royal Parade, Marine Parade ,Grand Parade and King Edward's Parade will be closed to traffic from Beach Road to Bolsover Road.
