The biggest beer festival in East Sussex comes to Eastbourne's Winter Garden every October. Try from a range of over 150 real cask ales on tap, from quirky named brews to award winners, all of which have been chosen especially for the festival by our local CAMRA members.

In addition visit the Wine Bar, Cider Bar and the International Bottled Beers Bar for a range of brews from all around the world.

Volunteer Charities for 2012

This year there were four charities providing volunteer bar staff to assist CAMRA volunteers on the real ale bars in return for being the nominated session charity. Everyone gave generously in the buckets on the bars & donated their unspent tokens at the end of the session the value of which were donated to the charity. These charities work very hard and provide excellent care and help where it is most needed.

On their nominated session the charity provided 12 volunteers for the real ale bars and had an information stand at the festival where you can find out more about the vital work they do and also becoming a volunteer yourself. The four charites are Tuesday O Hara Fund- Cancer/ Leukemia, East Sussex Foster Carers, East Sussex Cruse-Bereavement counselling and JPK Sussex project- Adults with learning difficulties.
