Magnificent Motors returns to Eastbourne Seafront
21 April 2017
As the warmer weather sets in and the bank holiday approaches, Eastbourne prepares to welcome back the biggest free motoring festival on the South Coast. Magnificent Motors returns to the Western Lawns on 29 and 30 April for a two-day motoring extravaganza!
Where better to take a trip down memory lane and marvel at some fantastic vehicles, and have a brilliant day out for all the family to top it?
Start the day off by finding yourself a good spot to watch the seafront cavalcade of motors, as classic and vintage cars alike parade along the Victorian seafront, starting at the Fort Fun car park at 10.00am and heading down towards the Western Lawns and the slopes of the Wish Tower where the displays open 11.00am until 5.00pm.
Then, enjoy a nostalgic trip through a century of motoring, from the oldest exhibit at the festival, dating all the way back to the 1900s through to the modern day!
For those who love American classics, keep an eye out for the fan-favourites, including a 1966 Ford Shelby Mustang and a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray OTS!
With over 600 vehicles due to make an appearance at the festival including vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, buses, steam-traction engines, military and commercial vehicles, there is sure to be something for every petrol head.
This year is promising to be bigger and better than ever, as over 30 car clubs from Sussex, Kent and farther afield are travelling down to get involved, like the VW Club, Jaguar’s Enthusiast Club and the Aston Martin Owner’s Club.
To match, A-Plan insurance, who are sponsoring the event this year, are featuring the iconic Aston Martin DB5, as used by Daniel Craig in the hit James Bond film Skyfall!
With a combination of spectacular views and tremendous vehicles, accompanied by live music and entertainment, Magnificent Motors is a veritable feast on the eyes and ears.
To add to a terrific event, visitors can enjoy fairground rides or experience a taste of France with the Continental Market held on the Eastbourne Seafront!
A fantastic day out for everyone to enjoy the weather, the scenery and some truly Magnificent Motors!
