The Congress Hotel is a family run hotel ideally situated in the heart of theatreland, 250 yards from the seafront and 10 mins walk from the town centre.

All our 62 spacious en-suite bedrooms are centrally heated and have a remote control colour television, a direct dial telephone and a hospitality tray.

Our spacious restaurant offers a choice of menu with excellent traditional English cuisine and an a' la carte selection. Special diets and packed lunches are catered for by prior arrangement.

Two lifts serve all floors. All public areas and some bedrooms are wheelchair accessible. A varied entertainment programme is offered most evenings. Other facilities include a dance floor, games room, and a large terrace leading onto Wilmington Gardens. This Hotel is a non-smoking Hotel.

We offer our guests complimentary wireless internet connection in public areas and have two small car parks as well as unrestricted street parking.

From the M25, take the A22 which leads directly to Eastbourne, then follow the signs to the seafront (west). Turn right towards the western end of the front, then when you reach the Wish Tower, turn right into Wilmington Square, cross Compton Street, then turn left into Carlisle Road - we are on the left, across the road from the Congress Theatre.
