Eastbourne on BBC Breakfast
Earlier in 2008, BBC News’ BBC Breakfast, came down to Eastbourne’s Blue Flag beach to film a story on the Kidzsafe wristband scheme that operates to help prevent children getting lost on the beach. Parents can collect kids’ waterproof brightly coloured wristbands from the beach lifeguards that they write in their mobile number so that in the case of separation, the child can be re-united with their parent.
This scheme operates between the pier and Wish Tower in Eastbourne.
