Beachy Head Marathon & 10K: 25 Oct

Eastbourne Events

The Eastbourne Beachy Head Marathon is one the biggest off-road marathons in the UK. Formerly known as the Seven Sisters Marathon, it is popular for its scenic and challenging route through the South Downs National Park countryside. Great for runners, joggers or walkers looking to get fit. The 10k run will set off just after the marathon with a route comprising of breathtaking views and challenges.

Twilight Tours at the Redoubt Fortress - Every Saturday in October

October is a spooky month at the Redoubt, as the 200 year old fortification opens up for Twilight Tours every Saturday. From ghostly sightings and mysterious objects to tales of gruesome battles, the torchlit guided tours around the creepy corridors and tunnels of the Redoubt Fortress are sure to be spine-chilling.
