The small village of Alfriston has many old buildings and a feel of ancient times. The main street offers shops and restaurants. Alfriston also has a festival which takes place every year during the week leading up to the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Many events will take place around the village. these include the festival supper, a barn dance, an evening of entertainment and more.

Attractions nearby include the Cuckmere River where you can take a relaxing stroll to the Sea & Drusillas Zoo.
