The M.A.D Team have long established themselves at the top of the Mountainbike Stunt Demo tree, after over a decade of performing shows through-out various industries, featuring at professional world-class events. The brainchild of the infamous Giles Wolfe, M.A.D has dedicated itself to promoting a healthy and positive outlook on Mountainbiking and Cycling in general.
Boasting some of Europe’s finest riders, mixed with Trials Stars from the past decade, M.A.D has no problem performing more than one show in any place at any time.

Roller Derby Tournament
Eastbourne's local roller derby league, the Bourne Bombshells will be hosting the UK's only free outdoor tournament for the second year running at Eastbourne Extreme.
This year they will be bringing you two days of hard hitting roller derby action. Saturday will be showcasing some of the newest talent from the South with the Bourne Bombshells's home debut and their opponents Basingstoke Bullets, Full Metal Roller Derby (Hertfordshire) and Surrey Roller Girls. Sunday will bring together more veteran teams from the area with Kent Roller Girls, Portsmouth Roller Wenches, and returning finalists from last year, Big Bucks High Rollers and Croydon Roller Derby! Will Croydon take home the title again?
The tournament will consist of 7 half hour bouts, each starting on the hour between 10am and 5pm with prizegiving at the end. Roller derby is a full contact sport on skates, largely played by women. Each 2 minute 'jam' is played b 4 blockers from each team and 2 jammers. The jammers score points for their team by overtaking the other team's blockers, who will try to stop them with a combination of positional blocking and hitting. It is the fastest growing sport in the UK with over 80 active leagues since the first league formed in 2004. The event will be held outside in the cage, and unfortunately will be weather dependant.

Urban Shadows parkour
The Urban Shadows are returning for their fifth year for Eastbourne Extreme to wow the crowd with a mix of parkour, free running and tricking. They are a team made up of individuals from the surrounding southeast. This year they will also be joined by another group; F.R.E.E (Free Running Educational Experience) who will perform alongside the Shadows for twice the excitement.
Parkour is a physical discipline, which focuses on efficient movement around obstacles. The main purpose of the discipline is to teach participants how to move through their environment by vaulting, rolling, running, climbing, and jumping.
They will be performing and showing their skills on their very own playground located behind the Sovereign centre. Come down and show your support for the flying urban monkeys.

VW Bus Stop
Bus Stop festival is a VW & Retro Scooter Event welcoming all owners of Beetles, Golfs, Splits, Bays, Lambrettas, Vespas, T25's, Variants, Polo's, Lupo's, T4's, T5's and any other Classic or Custom VW out there. Bus Stop is joining exterme on Sunday 15 July.
Sk8 School
Sk8 School has been teaching Eastbourne to skate since 1995 and we have the most qualified and experienced instructors around. We are the only Internationally recognised Skate School in Eastbourne and the only group qualified to teach skate lessons beyond beginner level in the area. SK8school has a team of 10+ Instructors, Coaches and Consultants covering much of Sussex and South London, with Skate Lessons, Skate Events, Roller Discos and Roller Birthday Parties.
At Extreme, the Sk8 School will be providing:
- Plenty of games, skills tests, and competitions centred mainly on the basket ball courts such as:
Basket Ball competition, Limbo, High Jump, Various Slalom competitions and Demonstrations, Dance, Plenty of Music, Assault Courses and more at the Fishermans Green courts.
- Roller Disco on Saturday night at the Redoubt
- Roller Derby national tournament
- Hockey
Eastbourne Skating Club
The E.S.C. mainly operates out of the Sovereign Centre in Eastbourne where they run skate disco's for all to enjoy. You will see members of E.S.C most days along the seafront or in the skate parks practicing their skating - easily recognisable by the clubs hoodies and t-shirts. Established in May for 2011 the club has jumped on the scene in full force my co-hosting the skating at Extreme '11, taking part in the first Skate 4000 event and joining the Sunshine Carnival for the Queens Jubilee weekend.
Four of the clubs skaters known as the Coast Bladers also won the BBC TV series Skate Nation, this was a ten part Xfactor style competition that was a real test of character and skill!
