Magnificent Motors over the years

Highlights of 2013's Event

The show returned to the original seafront venue after two years in the park. Eastbourne’s Western Lawns welcomed back over 600 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, buses and more at the brilliant two day festival.

This year there were a great collection of motors, and much more to celebrate including two days of seafront cavalcades with live entertainment, fairground rides and a magnificent drive-in movie night showing classic car film ‘The Italian Job’ on the Saturday evening.

Around 400 motors joined the seafront cavalcades over the two days, kick-starting the celebration each morning.

The festival which is jointly organised by Eastbourne Borough Council, Eastbourne Historic Vehicle Club and East Sussex Omnibus Society regularly attracts over 600 classic and vintage vehicles, including cars, motorbikes, scooters, buses, military, commercial vehicles and new boys; MX5 club will be bringing 30 amazing vehicles from around the region. In addition there will be the Continental market close by and later on in the evening a showing of classic car movie, ‘Italian Job’ at the drive in.

The spectacular is supported by some great entertainment and Faye & Ben started it off at 11.15 on Saturday morning. To follow there were acts including Melodika, Howlin Blues, Strum N Bass, Adele Tribute Show and The Beagles. Along with the return of old car favourites like Lone Star Club with their fantastic collection of American classics.
