Weekly Fireworks Return for 1812 Concert at Eastbourne Bandstand
19 April 2017
Eastbourne Bandstand’s 1812 Firework Concert makes a welcome return on 3 May as part of an unbeatable line-up of concerts at the UK’s busiest Bandstand, located just a stone’s throw from the beach.
The evening consists of a culmination of concert music showcasing a super Brass and Silver band every Wednesday evening. The best-selling show finishes triumphantly with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture accompanied by an impressive firework display that guarantees to wow the crowds every week until 27 September.
The iconic weekly tradition, which has been going back more than 35 years, is a firm favourite in the Bandstand’s jam-packed calendar. Providing the entertainment from April to October is the Traditional Afternoon Concert with some of the best local brass and silver bands, tribute acts dedicated to musical legends as well as themed nights for the likes of 1920’s Gatsby Twist.
Doors and the bar open at 7.30pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £3.75 for children, with a 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.
