Design a Postcard - Terms and Conditions

Postcard competition

• The competition is open to all residents of Eastbourne
• Photographs, illustrations and designs must be of Eastbourne
• Categories for entry are: under 16's and 16 years and over
• All photograph entries must be submitted as prints, with your name and photograph title on the back, age, address, telephone number and school (if applicable)
• Illustrated entries must be marked clearly with your name, age, address, telephone number and school (if applicable)
• Only one entry per person is permitted
• Photos should be a minimum size 5" x 7" and a maximum size 10"x 8" and can be colour or black and white
• Illustrations can be drawn, painted or coloured in
• All entries must be completely your own work and all photographs must be taken yourself
• By entering the competition, you grant Eastbourne Borough Council the licence of all images and illustrations with the right to use and reproduce these at any item for any purpose
• Winning designs will be published on the VisitEastbourne website next year
• There will be two winning designs - one from each category - these will be sold in Eastbourne Tourist Information Centre and Jane de Weck Photographic Studio
• Winners will not receive any profit from the postcard sales
• Eastbourne Borough Council will not accept any liability for loss or damage caused to entries and will not accept responsibility for delayed entries
• If you would like your entry returned to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope
• The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into over individual entries
• All entries should be sent to Design a Postcard Competition, Promotions, Eastbourne Borough Council, 68 Grove Road, Eastbourne, BN21 4UH
• The closing date for receipt of entries is 31 January 2008
• Winners will be announced shortly after
• Prizes will be awarded for each category and no cash alternative is available
