The UK's highest chalk sea cliff Beachy Head is one of Eastbourne's most famous TV and film locations. Some of your favourite dramatic film scenes were actually filmed here in Eastbourne!

The scene from James Bond movie, The Living Daylights, where a secret agent parachutes from a Land Rover was actually filmed off Beachy Head but audiences were led to believe it was taking placen in Gibraltar!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang also chose the famous cliffs for its car chase where the car drove off the cliff tops but then opened its wings to fly!

More recently the famous South Downs have been used to film scenes including the quidditch scences from Harry Potter - The Goblet of Fire.

Cate Blanchett has stood on the edge in Notes on a Scandal.

Many commercials have been shot at this beautiful landscape including E.on, Nike Rugby World Cup, Phones 4U, BMW, Audi, Jeep, O2, Rover, and Volvo and Debenhams.

ENGLAND’S rugby World Cup team look a formidable sight as they stand on the cliffs at Beachy Head looking over to France for Ther Rugby World Cup 2007 advertising campaign being run by team sponsors, Nike.
