I shoot with both digital and film cameras and always have a camera of some sort with me wherever I go. Photography has become a way of life for me and most definitely not just a 9-5 job. I like to keep my work and personal art photography varied, this keeps me inspired and driven to always better myself.
I started offering photography tuition around 2008 and the courses that I offer have really grown over the last 12 months. Photography Courses are now my main business and lot of time and effort goes in to creating my courses so that members and students get maximum benefit. Some courses are more technical or arty and others more about a fun and creative day out.
The best thing about running photography courses is seeing what others get out of it, when someone really starts to understand their camera and you can almost see them realising the possibilities that they can achieve with a camera, that's really quite special.
Landscape Photography Courses

I can teach you about what settings to use for landscape photography and how to achieve good balanced exposures. I also can teach you about creative ways to frame your landscapes. The group is fairly small so I can spend time with each of you helping you with your specific photographic needs. I will be on hand at all times for any questions you have.
My goal is that you come away with a much better understanding of your camera and landscape photography. Hopefully some great photos too!
At War With The Obvious

The idea of the photowalk is to learn how to see differently. I encourage you to photograph unusual subjects and steer away from clichés. It can be challenging for some but most find it a rewarding experience. I'll be setting a small list of things to photograph throughout the day, this is optional and just for fun, but might help encourage you to start seeing differently.
The Amercian photographer William Eggleston once said "we are at war with the obvious", meaning that we constantly need to challenge ourselves to take photographs of things that aren't initially obvious.
