Built in the 13th century and set in the idyllic Tudor village of Alfriston, The Star is a 37 bedroom historic hotel steeped in character. The bar and lounges feature old open fireplaces, exposed oak beams and fantastic cuisine available 7 days a week. The AA Rosette Capella restaurant features locally sourced traditional British food for dinner in the evenings and Sunday lunch. The Star is licensed for weddings and has two fully equipped function rooms for weddings, banquets or conferences. Free car park on site, free Wi-Fi.
Easy access to Drusilla's, Glyndebourne, Charleston Manor. Only 30 minutes to Brighton and 20 minutes to Eastbourne seafront.

Take M23 south until it turns in to the A23. Follow A23 approx 20 miles. Then take A27 (signposted Lewes, then Polegate). Follow A27 15 miles until you reach Drusilla's roundabout. Turn right following the B2108 to Alfriston. The Star is located in middle of High Street on the right. Turn right into Star Lane and right again into carp park, located at rear of hotel.
