Familiar Visions
An exhibition of Father and Son, featuring the work of Eric and James Ravilious together for the very first time, inviting exploration of the similarities between them and revealing a deep seated love for the land inherant to both.

Towner is open 10am - 6pm Tuesday to Friday, and Bank Holiday Mondays. Admission to the gallery and all exhibitions is free, save for one paying exhibition per year. For more information on accessibility, contact details and a location map follow the link.

A Walk in the Park features traditional and contemporary artworks held in honour of the new national park status. Showing alongside this is Tide Lines, an exploration of Eastbourne's majestic seaside heritage, created by or chosen by young people.

Towner Tours, Talks and Workshops
Towner offers a rich and varied programme of talks, tours, workshops and activities for all ages, plus free daily tours of the building.

Art materials and free family packs are available every Saturday and Sunday and daily throughout school holidays, when families are invited to get creative and make some art of their own.

Architectural Achievement Award
Towner offers not only an exciting programme of exhibitions and events but also outstanding seaside architecture, which led to the new building winning the Architectural Achievement Award in the 2009 British Design Awards, sponsored by Elle Decoration.
