Aled Jones MBE has been a household name since the 1980s and has enjoyed a phenomenally successful career in music, radio and television. He will forever be remembered as one of the world’s most successful boy sopranos. He made his professional debut as a 12 year old performing in Handel’s Oratorio on BBC 2 and BBC Radio 3.

By the time he recorded Walking in the Air in 1985 he had already released 12 albums. The song which featured in The Snowman reached No 5 in the UK charts.

Aled went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music and Bristol Old Vic Theatre before appearing in Joseph playing the title role. Other stage musical appearances include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and White Christmas.

On television he has presented programmes such as Songs of Praise, Escape to the Country, Cash in the Attic and ITV’s breakfast show Daybreak. In 2014 he hosted his own TV show called Weekend. Aled was a contestant on the second series of Strictly Come Dancing and made it through to the semi final.

On radio he has presented Good Morning Sunday and Friday Night is Music Night both on Radio 2. He has also presented his own Sunday morning show on Classic FM.

In 2017 Aled released One Voice, a concept album that saw him duet with his younger self. The album reached Number 1 in the Classical chart and Number 3 in the official UK chart. In total Aled has released an incredible 33 albums.

Faryl Smith reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008 aged just 12 years. Since then she has released 3 successful albums, duetted with Jose Carreras and Russell Watson, sang at various Cup Finals and performed on a number of occasions for the Royal Family. She is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Classical Reflection are identical twins Naomi and Hannah Moxon and appeared on The Voice in 2015. They have released 2 albums and performed in various concerts around the country including several appearances at the Royal Albert Hall.

Concentus are one of Eastbourne’s largest and most popular choirs. They regularly perform in concerts raising money for various charities.

The Well Child charity aims to give seriously ill children the best chance to thrive at home with their families by providing practical and emotional support to enable them to leave hospital quicker and return home.

They fund projects and research to ensure parents, carers and those who work in the children’s healthcare sector are better equipped to provide support to children and young people with long term, complex healthcare needs.
