Festive Fun - Christmas Market Shopping Ideas

The sights and sounds of this magical time of year really come alive as you browse the picturesque wooden chalets of the Christmas market. From the delicious foodie treats to unique and individual gifts, a visit to the market will definitely make you feel a little festive!

Eastbourne’s own market is located on Terminus Road and will be open until Sunday 23rd December and is a great place to pick up a last minute gift or to find something a bit different for someone special.

Sam’s Glitter & Gifts sells an array of items, perfect for last minute stocking fillers! From candles and bath bombs to glittery wine glasses and LED fairy lights. Sam says that her mix and match gift bags little make a perfect present as you can choose which of the many items you’d like to put together to create a gift for a loved one. Sam's Glitter Gifts
Dolly Fixtures sells quirky handmade furnishings combining a love of fabric, texture and colour to create useful (and quirky) furniture and accessories with big personalities and a lot of attitude! Tracey from Dolly Fixtures will be at the market on 17th & 18th December and can take commissions to create a truly unique gift. Dolly Fixtures
You’ll find a range of unique and handmade crafts at Jen’s Sewing Box on 15th & 16th December. This local trader makes a variety of hand sewn items including toiletry bags, bookmarks, even stitched phone cases! Jen says that her little owls are proving particularly popular. As well as the stalls, don’t forget that there’s plenty of festive cheer at the Eastbourne Christmas Market with a variety of entertainment each day including singers, music and Mrs Claus too plus an assortment of delicious food stalls to help fuel a busy day of present buying!
