THE GROVE EXPERIENCE is an independent, luxury hair salon, offering a wide range of bespoke services for Guests.
Founded by myself (Gary) and my wife, Giovanna, we opened the salon back in 2009. What was previously a book store we transformed into our Grove Experience. We are constantly striving to offer something a little different for our guests. My wife & I each have over 30 years experience in the hair industry. Our aim was to provide a unique service which would set us apart from other salons.

We stock and have available all the products and tools that we use in the salon to create your look, so you can purchase them to use at home to recreate that look every day that you are not with us.
We proudly use, recommend and stock the full Paul Mitchell system. We work with Paul Mitchell professional hair colour and tools in the salon.

I’ve been going to this salon for a long time since 2006. Very friendly, welcoming, pleasant, knowledgeable staff. I’ve been seen by sally who did a terrific job with a bad hair cut I had elsewhere. I’ve seen kiki when she was a junior for colour and cut. Recently I had a colour, cut and finish by Amy who wanted to get it just right for me after having had shingles for 5 months and having scalp problems and thinning hair. I came out with thicker hair, beautiful colours, beaming like a cheshire cat feeling very happy. Thank you so much amy for making me feel and look good.
After trying many Eastbourne salons and being disappointed with the result, I had a Top It Up appointment yesterday with Evie and cannot praise her enough and the result she achieved. Evie blended the colours perfectly and the cut was brilliant. Most importantly, she has a superb demeanour about her which suits the total ambience of the impeccable and first class Salon. Would not hesitate in recommending her and cannot wait for my next appointment !
