Long Man of Wilmington

About

Starting with far reaching views over Eastbourne and then descending to the village of Jevington. Picking up the South Downs Way to arrive at the top of the renowned “Long Man of Wilmington” where you will be able to get very close to see this massive chalk figure carved into the hillside. Wonderful far reaching views over the Weald before descending and returning through woodland.

This is a medium length, moderate  walk with an approximate distance of 8 Miles.

Start time:  10:00   Approximate finish time:  16:00

Meet at Butts Brow Car Park at 10am.

You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Dogs are welcome.  

This route is not pushchair or wheelchair friendly.
