Ocklynge Manor House

300 year old Ocklygne Manor will be open to the public in aid of St Wilfreds Hospice. Arrival time slots are available between 10am and 2.30pm, with the garden closing at 4pm. If you are booking as part of a group, we recommend that one person books for everyone in order to ensure that you can all book for the same arrival time.

The garden of what was once the home of Peter Pan illustrator Mabel Lucie Attwell, with a variety of green foliage and contrasting shapes of shrubs and mature trees. There is a phillyrea latifolia which has been pruned into a large cloud tree and palm trees which add a small Mediterranean touch.

You will be able to spend as much time as you wish in the garden until it closes – the arrival time slots will just help us to adhere to Government guidelines and implement social distancing without it affecting your enjoyment of the gardens.

We may not be able to have stalls and serve refreshments this year, but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy responsibly, ensuring that you take any rubbish away with you.

Please call 01323 434290 to book your tickets and arrival slot.

We look forward to seeing you.
