Cuckmere meanders

About

Leaving East Dean we walk by the old sheep centre to Cornish Farm, through Horseshoe Bottom to Birling Gap for coffee.  Then past the Red Barn to Crowlink and Friston.  On through Friston Forest to Gayles Farm and the sites of the WWll Friston Aerodrome and the lost village of Exceat.  We finish at the Seven Sisters Country Park Visitor Centre.  Return by bus to East Dean.  Slowly up the hills.  Good paths. 5 stiles. Total distance to end 6.5miles from where you can return by bus if neccesary.
