Nana Tomova sitting in front of the Seven Sisters

About

Let your ears soak in the mystery and wonder of the lands of stories. The nights are getting longer and the days are getting shorter, and at this time of year, our ancestors used to gather by the fire and listen to stories to warm their bodies and souls. Join storyteller Nana as she enchants you with stories and transports you to magical places.

Nana Tomova is a Sussex Based Storyteller. Originally from Bulgaria, born on the Black Sea Coast, she moved home through several countries and found belonging in stories. She believes that stories can help us find our place in the world. Stories tell of adversity - fighting a dragon, walking the world to be with one’s beloved, losing your skin and finding it again. They offer hope, courage, wisdom and medicine. Nana loves to tell healing stories, stories about the magic of nature and stories about strong independent women. She knows many Slavic and Bulgarian tales which have never been heard before in English.
