About

A walk from the National Trust car park at Crowlink across rolling Downland to the clifftop at Flagstaff brow returning through the picturesque hamlet of Crowlink. The walk leader will point out sites where archaeological digs took place in 2015 and talk about some of the history of this fascinating coastal site including smuggling, shipwrecks, coastguards, bronze age burial sites and a WW2 airfield. There willbe two steep hills but no stiles.

Meet at the carpark at Crowlink.

You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Dogs are welcome.

There are no toilet facilities on this route.                 

This route is not pushchair or wheelchair friendly.

If you are travelling via public transport you can ride the number 12 bus to Friston Pond.

Exact meeting point: Crowlink NT car park (free to NT members, otherwise pay for parking)
