Join Hampden Park Councillor Josh Babarinde on a walk around some of the ward’s hidden treasures – and some just over the border in Langney. The walk will begin in Hampden Park itself, take us to a cosy community garden near the Hydneye, around the murals of Willingdon Trees, and over ‘Hazelwood Bridge’, which will be a gateway to our final destination – the beautiful Hydneye Lake (Shinewater in reality but Hampden Park in spirit!)

Exact meeting point: Lakeside Tea Chalet

Meeting point: 1/1A Bus stops on Decoy Drive; if coming from Hampden Park Railway Station, walk down Brassey Avenue to Hampden Park and then follow the road to the chalet.

Dogs are welcome and toilets are available at the start of the walk.
