This walk, lead by Tim Jacobs from Royal Mail, will teach walkers about the history and evolution of the British post box, pausing at intervals to examine the main features of each period. The walk will take walkers along a circular loop from the View Hotel on the seafront along Grand Parade and Royal Parade as far as Carlton Road, returning via Seaside Road and Terminus Road, taking care to avoid major road junctions. The terrain is flat and suitable for all age groups and people with disabilities.
