Beaches in Eastbourne
Our main resort beach is located between the Pier and the Wish Tower. This beach is an award winning beach and boasts excellent bathing water quality, first class cafes and bars.
Marine Parade Beaches from the Pier to The Pavilion cafe are popular with both visitors and residents of the town and for watersports too, offering great views along the coast towards the harbour.
These quiet beaches afford breathtaking views of the natural chalk cliffs and east toward the pier and are ideal for those who want to get away from the busier spots.
These beaches are sand and shingle with good access and parking close by. Within easy reach of shops and amenities with toilets and refreshments a short distance away. Dogs are welcome on these beaches but must be kept under control.
Holywell Retreat is set at the foot of the South Downs, this quaint little enclave boasts a popular café, beach huts/chalets, cliffside Italian Gardens, fossil hunting and rock pooling. The Dotto land train stops here.
Popular with windsurfers, skaters, cyclists and runners, these beaches are sand and shingle with good access, parking and a watersports centre. Toilets and refreshments a short distance away. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control.
