Beer & Cider by the Sea

Beer and cider enthusiasts are in for a mouth-watering bank holiday weekend in May as Beer & Cider by the Sea returns with over 100 real ales, ciders and perries. There’s plenty to choose from, whether you’re after an award-winning beverage, fancy trying a local favourite or you’re intrigued by the quirky names e.g. the Mad Goose and the Nettle Thrasher. Adding to the buzz of the atmosphere, a live music stage will be set up for you to dance along to!

Seafront Market

Twice a month Eastbourne’s seafront transforms into a bustling market place which is packed out with plates full of gastronomical treats, featuring everything from sizzling steaks to mouth-watering paella. The market’s regular appearance on the seafront makes it the perfect opportunity to try something new and delicious every few weeks!

Eastbourne Feastival

A weekend dedicated to foods from around the world… what could be better? Head down to Princes Park on 24-25 June for Eastbourne Feastival, a haven of fine food and drink that showcases cuisines from across the globe. The weekend’s sure to be packed with entertainment on the main stage, featuring ethnic dance groups, street artists, international and local music and much more!

 

Restaurants

Eastbourne’s bursting with restaurants for every taste and budget. Whether you’re after brunch at The Beach Deck with a view of the sea, or a one of a kind dinner at the Grand Hotel’s award-winning Mirabelle Restaurant, there are heaps of places to go for a romantic date, celebratory meal or indulgent treat with friends. We suggest heading to the cosmopolitan marina for dinner with a view or a glass of fizz by the water. If you're in the heart of town, head to Terminus Road and take your pick of restaurants offering worldwide cuisines!

Fizz on Foot

If you’re after a taste of Sussex, a walking wine tour with Fizz on Foot is a fabulous way of discovering fine wines from local vineyards and walking across equally impressive landscapes. The tour takes you through charming spots such as Alfriston Village, as well as a visit to one of the local vineyards. Did you know Eastbourne has over 50 on its doorstep?

 

Eastbourne Beer Festival

The biggest beer festival in East Sussex returns to Eastbourne's Winter Garden on 5-7 October for even more real ales, ciders and perries! You'll have barrels of laughs with pub style games, live performances on the main stage and even more ales with quirky names hand picked by CAMRA.
