Eastbourne Bandstand Welcomes Killerz Tribute for the First Time

The best-selling tribute season continues at Eastbourne Bandstand, welcoming an incredible tribute to The Killers for the first time on Friday 26 May as part of the longest running season yet.
Formerly known as Hot Fuss, named after the group’s favourite album, The Killerz pride themselves on capturing the look, sound and energy of the award winning band. Featuring the chart-topping hits ‘Mr Brightside’, ‘When You Were Young’ and ‘Human’, visitors can sing along and enjoy a night of fantastic music and entertainment.
Paying tribute to the Las Vegas superstars, the group use a combination of string and brass sections at bigger venues to capture the likeness of the band as well as a combination of artistic integrity, love and passion all to give audiences a ‘killer’ performance at one of the UK’s most unique concert venues.
This year’s Bandstand tribute season is bigger and better than ever, with an extra two weeks added to fit in even more amazing acts, either for the first time or to welcome back some of the world’s best tributes.
Continuing on Saturday 27 May, Jay Oxenham and the Manhattan Swing Band bring the glamour and elegance of the 1950s to Eastbourne Bandstand as they emulate Frank Sinatra to perfection. Audiences can enjoy these mesmerising performances every Friday and Saturday night throughout the summer, from April through to October.
Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.

Let Jay Oxenham and the Manhattan Swing rekindle the memory of the greatest performer of the 20th Century - Frank Sinatra. From his exceptional voice to the tiniest gesture, Jay will recreate the perfect illusion of Ol’ Blue Eyes himself. Traditional Sunday Afternoon Concert with Mid Sussex Brass Band
Sunday 28 May at 3pm
Featuring this week, the Mid Sussex Brass Band deliver their serving of traditional music to help relax on a Sunday afternoon. The Burgess Hill-based band can trace its origins back to the late 19th Century, and offer a range from marches to classical, contemporary and modern compositions.

1812 Firework Concert with the Patcham Silver Band
Wednesday 31 May at 8pm
Celebrating their 70th anniversary this year, the Patcham Silver Band entertain with an evening of fantastic music ranging from classics and marches, to jazz and show tunes and many more. The evening culminates in the Bandstand’s weekly rousing rendition of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, set against the backdrop of stunning fireworks.
