Here's some handy information on parking the car if you're driving down to Airbourne.
Our aim is to encourage the use of public transport, but if it simply cannot be avoided, here's some information you might need to know.

Pre-bookable parking is now available for:

All car parking revenue helps to fund the flying displays at the airshow - please give generously to support the future of the show.
Height restrictions may apply at some car parks.
Please note, normal seafront parking charges remain in force for the duration of the airshow. Eastbourne Resident's Leisure Cards are not valid during Airbourne at Beachy Head and Eastbourne Car Parks.
While card payments are available in some car parks, card machines will be limited and therefore bringing the correct amount of change to pay for parking in cash is recommended to ensure a quick and smooth experience. This is with the exception of the King Edward's Parade car park which will only accept card payments.
There will be a Park & Bus scheme in operation at Five Acres Field, Lottbridge Drove, BN22 7SG - follow direction signage from A22, A259 (east) and A27 (west) with buses running to and from the beginning of the airshow site at Cavendish Place.

Bus Fare:
Return Ticket: Adult £4, Under 16's £3. For family tickets use the Airbourne Flyer below *
Airbourne Flyer - Adult £5, Under 16's £3 or Family £10 (1 adult & up to 4 U16s, or 2 adults and up to 3 U16s). Provides extended travel across all buses within the Eastbourne Dayrider zone. *
Please note only Airbourne and Airbourne Flyer tickets will be accepted on Airbourne Park & Bus services, concessionary passes are not accepted.
Convenient seafront parking - just 100 spaces available at the western end of Seafront. King Edward's Parade, Eastbourne BN20 7JS (opposite Staveley Road).

This car park accepts card payment only and is unable to accept cash payments.
Dencher, Warren Hill & Dewpond
For somewhere a bit different and unique, head to the Park n' View car parks at Beachy Head (near the pub), with views of some of the bigger flying displays as they take place over Eastbourne seafront**. Toilets and refreshments available.
Please note the permanent car parks at Beachy Head and Warren Hill are pay and display and normal charges will apply.

£20 (includes souvenir programme and pin badge RRP £10) daily charge levied for parking as part of the event traffic management for the area.
We advise arriving early to avoid the traffic queues.
Dencher is pre-bookable. Warren Hill and Dewpond will be opened as overflow car parks during peak times.
** Please note all displays will take place on the display line between the Western Lawns and the Pier. There are no flying displays at Beachy Head.
Saffrons Sports Ground - entrance via Compton Place Road, Eastbourne BN21 1EA. Please note this car park is closed Thursday.

Directions to Airshow Site (approx 15 mins walk)
Turn left out of the car park onto Compton Place Road, cross Meads Road onto Granville Road and continue to the junction of Silverdale Road. Turn left and walk to junction of Compton Street/Grand Hotel and turn right to the seafront.
There is one designated Disabled Parking area, available on a first come first served basis. Devonshire Place (between its junction with Grand Parade B2103 and its junction with Memorial Roundabout (BN21 4AJ) 8am - 6.30pm.
The off seafront NCP Pay and Display Car Park also has bays for disabled drivers - Trinity Place, BN21 3BZ.
A limited number of spaces are available for motorbike parking on King Edward's Parade - just west of the junction with Silverdale Road.
Eastbourne offers a number of electric vehicle charging points. Please note that Devonshire Park Car Park is closed during the airshow and charging points will not be available to visitors.

Coach pick-up/drop-off point: Pier Head
During the airshow a free permit is required to drop off and pick up passengers. You can apply by downloading the application below in PDF format.
