It's not all about displays in the sky at Airbourne, there's so much to experience while keeping your feet firmly on the ground.

Head to the showground for exhibition stands, hands-on activities, children's rides and more.

Military Exhibition Zone

At Airbourne we are proud to welcome the British Army and the Royal Air Force which will be represented over the four days of the show.

Visitors can meet the Recruiting Teams and have a go at a range of interactive activities, which have previously included Virtual Reality experiences, a climbing wall, Batak challenge and the chance to step aboard a replica RAF Chinook Helicopter.

Airbourne is proud to welcome The Royal Air Force and British Army. Meet the recruiting teams, ride a simulator and step aboard a Chinook, all located in a dedicated area on the Western Lawns.

Kids Beaches

There are two designated beach play areas for children with giant inflatables, water walkers, bungee trampolining and more. Lots of fun for children of all ages! See Play Zones marked on the site map in the Airbourne programme.

Simulators

Utilising the technology of simulation, Airbourne brings you state of the art simulators that make you feel the full force of acceleration, high speed turns and close formation aerobatics. Located at the Western Lawns and Wish Tower Car Park.

Meet the AirBears

Meet our adorable duo, Ace and Aimee Air Bear, for a #BearHug, as they pose for selfies, give away stickers and collect money for Airbourne and our nominated charities.
