Pre-book airshow parking for discounted rates and express lane entry. Disabled parking is at Devonshire Place (first come, first served). Visit the car parking page for advance booking and travel information.
Cycling through the event site is prohibited. Two free cycle parks are available at Wilmington Square and Howard Square.
Collect your daily flying times with your Airshow Official Programme from the Information Stand on the Western Lawns or the Seafront Office at the Bandstand, Lower Parade.
Grab a childrens wristband from the Information Stand (Western Lawns), Lifeguard Station and Seafront Office for peace of mind! The wristbands are available free of charge, just simply write down your mobile number on the wristband and if you get seperated, this will help you reunite.
There are a lost persons area at the Lifeguard Station and the family meeting point will be located at the Information Tent on the Western Lawns.
Open water rip can take out even the most competent swimmers. Listen to Lifeguard/PA system advice at all times. Do not enter the water if the red flag is flying and avoid swimming near the groynes.
Public toilets are available at both the Bandstand and Eastbourne Pier for a charge of £1 (card payment only). In addition three free temporary facilities are provided on the Lower Promenade (see map). Free RADAR toilets and Changing Places facilities are available at the Bandstand.
There will be roadside first aid points at the Pier, Bandstand and RNLI Museum (see map). Mobile teams are also in operation and a main treatment facility is at the Devonshire Park Locker Room.
Unfortuantely there aren't any ATMs on site during the airshow. The nearest ATMs are at Terminus Road (near The Beacon shopping centre). Visitors are encouraged to bring cash to the event.
Drones, balloons and unmanned aerial vehicles are prohibited by the Civil Aviation Authority and Eastbourne Borough Council across the airshow site and airspace. Operators will be prosecuted.
BBQs are prohibited throughout the airshow site, including beaches, and will be removed by marshals to maintain public safety.
In an emergency, please listen to announcements on the PA system and follow instructions given by Police and event marshals. In the event of an evacuation, this will be in an orderly fashion to the east, west and north of the site, or as directed by Police and event marshals. Please check social media for updates on the incident. Do not re-enter until instructed that it is safe to do so.
