Beer and Cider by the Sea takes pl
ace on Eastbourne's Western Lawns, on the Western side of the central seafront, opposite the Best Western Lansdowne Hotel.
If you're coming by Train to Eastbourne Train Station, follow the signs for the Theatres. When you reach the Congress Theatre, head south to the seafront where you will see the Wish Tower. The event takes place on the lawns just west of the Wish Tower.
Driving or Cycling?
I
f you are cycling to the festival from the East of the Pier, there will be cycle paths along the promenade of the seafront. Past Eastbourne Pier please cycle on the road. The nearest bike racks to venue are at Eastbourne's Lifeboat Museum on the seafront.
Eastbourne has plenty of on-street parking situated along the seafront and in the town centre (parking charges apply). Alternatively the Trinity Place car park is a short walk from the Welcome Building. The NCP car park is open 24 hours so you are able to leave your car overnight. If you need a postcode, follow BN21 4EE.

By Bus
All of the Eastbourne Stagecoach buses will stop at the bus terminal in the town centre (Terminus Road). The Wave 99 bus from Hastings will stop at Eastbourne Pier and the number 3/3A towards Meads will stop along Devonshire Place, Compton Street or Silverdale Road. If you catching any of the number 12 Coaster buses (12, 12A, 12X) from Brighton, you can either get off in the town centre or Eastbourne Pier
Taking a bus? The closest bus stop is at the Winter Garden on the number 12 Brighton & Hove Coaster bus service. Head towards the sea from this point and you will find the Wish Tower, and the Western Lawns.

By Train
Good news, the train station is only a 15 minute walk from the venue. Head out of the main entrance and straight down Terminus Road towards the town centre. You will see Barclays Bank ahead of you and HSBC on your right, turn right at HSBC on to Cornfield Road. Walk straight on, ahead is the David Salmon furniture shop, keeping this on your right walk down Cornfield Terrace until you reach the Devonshire Park Theatre. Keeping the theatre on your right take a left onto Lascelles Terrace and turn right with just a short walk you'll see the Western Lawns.
