Beachy Head Marathon Information
Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself with a tougher terrain, try your first off-road Marathon course or hoping to beat last years’ time… The Beachy Head Marathon is one of the UKs largest off-road marathons and a great event to partake in.
Formerly known as the Seven Sisters Marathon, the Beachy Head Marathon is renowned for its picturesque views throughout the South Downs National Park and challenging terrain from the start to finish with over 300 steps and 14 gates encountered along the way.
The marathon starts at Dukes Drive and passes through the quaint villages of Jevington, Alfriston and Litlington. Participants then follow the Cuckmere River back to the coastline where they make their way over the Seven Sisters, past the infamous Belle Tout Lighthouse and make their descent back down to the finish line on Dukes Drive to collect their bespoke medal.
