Animazing have created a brand-new and inspiring attraction at Beachy Head in the former Beachy Head Story venue.

The Beachy Head Experience is where visitors can learn all about the stunning landscape through The Lighthouses, Landscapes & Legends exhibition, where visitors will be able to explore the history of the cliffs, lighthouses and more, and then head out to explore Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park via the digital trails app. 

Take flight over Beachy Head without leaving the ground via a green screen video over the cliffs and around Belle Tout Lighthouse and the chance to take the video home with them as a memento.

There will be hands-on interactive exhibits, which will feature activities themed around the coast, navigation, weather and more, including the chance to send messages using morse code or semaphore flags. Visitors can also take a closer look at the spectacular view with the video telescope, and measure the height of Beachy Head, the UK's highest chalk sea cliff, using their own stature as a unit of measurement.

Visitors will also be able to access three days of free access to the Beachy Head Trails app featuring eight trails across the Eastbourne Downland Estate, East Dean, Meads and Eastbourne seafront, which is Included in the admission fee. The app will include maps, images, detailed walking instructions, and quiz questions to test observation skills. For younger visitors there is also a free activity pack.
