Woodfire Cooking for Families

About

Join Wild Classroom for an outdoor cooking session at Michelham Priory House & Gardens.

With Wild Classroom, the aim is to share knowledge of traditional outdoor cooking techniques as well as the flavours that only outdoor cooking can bring, using fresh, local and seasonal produce wherever possible.
Wild Classroom brings you unmissable outdoor experiences, teaching campfire cooking for children (and parents!)

The purpose is to educate by combining ancient techniques with modern understanding. Cooking fresh food, in the wild, with easy, healthy recipes brings as much delight to the mind and soul as it does to the tastebuds.

Escape the gadgets, screens, and everything digital and get back to nature, whatever the weather!

About Wild Classroom
Scott has been a classroom teacher for the past 20 years and has taught in different schools and for different key stages.

Wild Classroom is a combination of his love of cooking and a desire to provide meaningful outdoor education experiences.

Scott has been fortunate to work with so many amazing young people that produce some fantastic food proving that outdoor cooking does not have to just be bangers on a barbie or dampers on a stick.
