Open Garden - Folkington Place

About

The Friends of Eastbourne Hospital are opening the gardens of Folkington Place as the final garden to enjoy in their 2023 Open Garden season.

The garden at Folkington Place is always very popular and is at its best during the month of September when there is a large variety of colourful flowers and shrubs.

The beautiful herbaceous border is a wonderful sight and there is also an enjoyable woodland walk where a gate can be found to access the lovely little parish church of St. Peters. There are plenty of tables for teas and coffee on the lawn and some stalls with local products including plants and cakes.

For directions, from the A27 towards Lewes take the third left into Folkington. Follow the open garden signs where you will find off-road parking. The gardens are open in all weather, and entry is by donation. The Friends volunteers will be selling tickets for the raffle, and manning refreshment stalls. Dogs, unfortunately, are not allowed at the Open Gardens.
