About

An archives exhibition at Willingdon village church. No booking necessary. Free entry.

The church will be full of archives relating to various sections of Willingdon parish: the history and architecture of the Parish Church and the Village including many historic properties.

A section will be on Ratton Manor, displayed in the Ratton Manorial Chapel within the church. Included is a display of photographs and information on the WW1 Royal Naval Air Station in the parish.

A short talk will be given at 2.15pm on the stained glass in the church which dates from 17th century to 20th century, some by eminent artists. The church archivist and stewards will be there to provide information and answer questions.
