Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by the following terms:

• the terms of National Rail Conditions of Travel
• The prize is off peak day return train tickets to Eastbourne from anywhere on the Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern network. Please see southernrailway.com for confirmation of off-peak times for your journey. 
• To enter, entrants must complete the entry form on the competition page.
• Only one entry per person will be entered into the prize draw.
• Competition closes at 23:59 on 23 November 2025. Any requests after this will not be included in the prize draw.
• Two winners will be selected at random from entries received and verified by Promoter and contacted on 24 November 2025 via the email provided as part of their entry. Prize will be awarded to the name used to enter the prize draw.
• The winners must respond to confirm acceptance of their prize by 26 November 2025. Failure to respond by this date will result in forfeiting the prize and another winner being chosen.
• Travel expenses outside of the Southern, Thameslink and Great Northern network are at the winner’s own cost. 
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.
• The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
• Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  Data will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network.
• VisitEastbourne’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
• VisitEastbourne shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
