Gildredge Park Bowls Club is a large club with two greens and 12 rinks. Whether an experienced or a new bowler, the club offers a rich variety of competitive and recreational bowls along with a vibrant social programme. Known as the friendly club, it is open all year, with outdoor bowls from April to October and short mat bowls in the winter.  Members compete in town, county and national competitions.  The club welcomes many touring and local bowls clubs over the summer for friendly competition.  The club was awarded Bowls Englands' Top Club in the South East and national runner-up in 2016.  Set in delightful parkland the club is close to the centre of the sunny town of Eastbourne on the South Coast of England"
