The Kanneh-Mason Trio

About

On 21 September, there is a rare opportunity to experIence the prodigious talents of three members of the Kanneh Mason family on your doorstep without catching a train to London. And at the same time hear the glorious operatic sounds of Verdi's Requiem, all wrapped up in the same concert at Eastbourne's Congress Theatre.

The English Arts Chorale, one of the South East's finest choirs, has put together a spectacular programme for lovers of classical "bonbons" that features three members of the world renowned Kanneh Mason family. This family of seven siblings, acknowledged geniuses of the musical world, came to the attention of everybody in 2018 when Shekhu, a cellist, played at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Congress Theatre will welcome THREE further members of the family (names) to Eastbourne at 5.00 pm on 21st September to play Beethoven's Triple Concerto supported by a fifty strong English Arts symphony orchestra.

The programme will open with Elgar's Pomp & Circumstance March no 3 and will conclude with the ever popular gem from the pen of Giuseppe Verdi (Jo Green!), his Requiem. In this performance, the English Arts Chorale builds on its proud reputation for providing opportunities to young classical talents to demonstrate their skills to a wider audience. On this occasion, finalists from Eastbourne's recent International Singing Competition, will feature in the soloist roles.
