The Three Degrees  are well known for their soulful voices, beautiful gowns, and fabulous stage shows and  have been continuously touring for more than 50 years and still touring to this day.

Valerie Holliday has been a member since the group started in 1967. In 1973 they signed to Philadelphia International Records under Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, where they had their greatest successes. The first song they recorded for the label was with the studio band MFSB, titled "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)", which was the theme song for Soul Train. In October 1973 they had million selling hits with "When will I see you again", "Dirty Ol' Man", "Take Good Care Of Yourself’ ‘Year of Decision’ ‘ Woman In Love.
