Amy Winehouse’s Legendary Sound Lives On at Eastbourne Bandstand

There’s something for the entire family as Kids Party Nights make a return to Eastbourne Bandstand’s summer line-up amongst an uncanny tribute for Amy Winehouse, a Musical Comedy Tribute Show and James Bond Concert Spectacular amongst the usual weekly favourites.

Paying tribute to the award-winning hits by late music legend Amy Winehouse is Tania Alboni who has perfected Amy’s unique vocals and every detail of her iconic look that stole the nation’s heart. After appearing on countless TV shows and magazines all over the world, Tania will be bringing her popular tribute to Eastbourne Bandstand on Friday 21 July for audiences to relive hits including ‘Rehab’, ‘Love is a Losing Game’ and ‘You Know I’m No Good’.

Audiences can prepare for a night with the stars as The Professionals bring their hilarious 3 piece comedy band to the Bandstand on Saturday 22 July to perform as The Beatles, Blues Brothers, Elvis, Tom Jones and many more. Their unique act is the perfect blend of music, comedy and plenty of audience participation.

Returning to Eastbourne, the filming location for James Bond’s The Living Daylights, is the James Bond Concert Spectacular on Sunday 23 July. Performing all of the Bond Theme favourites including ‘Diamonds are Forever’, ‘Goldfinger’ and many more is Q The Music.

With the summer holidays fast approaching, Kids Party Nights return to the Bandstand on Tuesday 25 July for a weekly disco or live band playing chart toppers for both children and parents to enjoy.

Musical Comedy Tribute
Saturday 22 July at 8pm

Traditional Sunday Afternoon Concert with Second Wind Concert Band
Sunday 23 July at 3pm
Taking centre stage at the Traditional Sunday Afternoon Concert is Second Wind Concert Band who will be performing their repertoire of popular concert band pieces as well as exciting arrangements of well and lesser known music.

James Bond Concert Spectacular

Performing all of the favourite Bond themes is Q the Music who will be showcasing the likes of ‘Goldfinger’, ‘Diamonds are Forever’ and ‘Dr No’ as part of a captivating evening of music.

Kids Disco Party Night with Dj Oli
Tuesday 25 July at 7.30pm
Kicking off the first Kids Party Night of the season is Dj Oli who will be bringing the party with musical favourites from the charts plus family favourites for both parents and kids to enjoy.

1812 Firework Concert with Patcham Silver Band
Wednesday 26 July at 8pm
The long-running weekly tradition returns to the Bandstand for an evening of concert music by Patcham Silver Band as they perform classics, jazz, TV and film concert music which ends triumphantly with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture accompanied by an impressive Firework display.

The Big Band and Swing Sound with The Swingshift Big Band
Thursday 27 July at 8pm
Performing a selection of jazz greats by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Count Basie and many more is The Swingshift Big Band in an evening that celebrates music from a memorable era.
