25 August 2017

Eastbourne Bandstand will have audiences dancing all the way to the USA with a weekend of performances dedicated to American greats. From an evening of music by fierce female icons in The American Divas show to celebrating the music of the legendary rock icon Meat Loaf.

Eastbourne Bandstand

The U.S. Diva Show pays tribute to 3 of the most iconic women in music, Madonna, Cher and Tina Turner in an all-singing, all-dancing evening on Friday 1 September.

Material girl Madonna’s signature look and sound comes to life in a show that reminds audiences why Madonna is the biggest selling artist of all time. From eye-catching costumes based on originals by Gaultier and Givenchy, to flawless choreography, the show is the ultimate tribute to the Queen of Pop featuring hits such as ‘Vogue’, ‘Like a Prayer’ and ‘Hung Up’.

The American Divas also draw audiences into Cher’s fantastic world in a show that features her greatest hits including Grammy Award winning ‘Believe’ and her much-loved classic hits across the decades. Audiences can expect Cher’s outrageous costumes, flamboyant look and distinctive voice in this quirky performance.

West End performer Karin Bello recreates Tina Turner’s energetic and exciting performances as she leads the dancers across the stage with a strut, shimmy and shake to hits such as ‘Proud Mary’, ‘The Best’ and ‘River Deep Mountain High’.

Taking to the stage on Saturday 2 September is Terry Nash, who critics call a “Dead Ringer” for Meat Loaf. With an impressive vocal range and uncanny resemblance to the “Bat Out of Hell” singer, Terry delivers the ultimate Meat Loaf experience.
