Bandstand Welcomes a New Flame to the Tribute Season

10 May 2018

Eastbourne Bandstand pays homage to British Soul super group, Simply Red, on Saturday 19 May in a brand new tribute to the flame-haired vocal talents of Mick Hucknall.

Lionel Richie Tribute

‘Red Mick’ will be bringing an 80’s and 90’s inspired set to the iconic seafront venue, ranging from their breakthrough classic ‘Money’s Too Tight (to Mention)’, ‘Holding Back the Years’ and ‘A New Flame’ to the glittering ‘Stars’, and number one hit ‘Fairground’.

Bringing a highly polished vocal performance, ‘Red Mick’ emulates one of the greatest British soul and pop singers of all time, delivered with easy confidence and an incredible likeness to the multi-platinum album selling pop star.

On Friday 18 May, Bandstand fans will be ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’ ‘All Night Long’ as Lionel Richie tribute act Hamilton Browne celebrates the American superstar in a jam-packed evening of hits.

Having appeared alongside the real Lionel Richie on both The Graham Norton Show and Sunday Night at the Royal Palladium, Hamilton will be bringing the early sounds of The Commodores to Eastbourne, along with many of Richie’s biggest solo number ones.

From the heartfelt ‘Hello’ to the laid-back ‘Easy (like a Sunday Morning)’ and the captivating ‘Three Times a Lady’, Hamilton will journey through decades of Motown soul and 80’s pop in a first class evening of entertainment.
