Another Sensational Summer Season Draws To An End At The UK’s Busiest Bandstand

As the summer draws to a close and the last tribute acts perform for this season. Eastbourne is set for a phenomenal finale line up to celebrate yet another successful year for Eastbourne Bandstand, which has seen ticket sales increase by 13% from 2016.


Badness Tribute Act

 Bringing the season to an end are two well-known acts among the tribute scene, ‘Badness’ performing on 7 October are a fitting tribute to the English ska band Madness and ‘ABBA Fever’ are returning to Eastbourne on 6 October to replicate the unmistakable sounds of the world famous Swedish band ABBA.

‘Badness’ have over two decades of experience under their belts and have the ability to turn every performance venue into a ‘House Of Fun’ for their audience to sing along and enjoy.

Playing a collection of classic Madness, Bad Manners and The Specials hits lead by their crowd adoring frontman ‘The Commander’, Badness never fail to get their audience up on their feet and dancing along to the beat.

Returning to entertain their adoring fans on 6 October for the very last time this summer season, ABBA Fever are back to perform ABBA’s smash hits and take the audience back to the 70’s for the last time this year.

The 5-piece live band combining vocals, keyboard, a guitarist and drummer master the ABBA flair in every performance with their flamboyant catsuit’s teamed with 70’s platforms and their slick dance routines effortlessly pay tribute to one of the most famous bands in pop history.

Performing all the ABBA hit classics such as ‘Money, Money, Money’, ‘Waterloo’ and ‘Mamma Mia’ ABBA Fever will undoubtedly get audiences in the ‘Dancing Queen’ mood.

Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.

The end of the season of tribute acts has crept up all too quickly this year, with a whole host of spectacular performances across the last couple of months entertaining hundreds of visitors day and night.
