Kids Rule at the Bandstand this Summer

16 July 2018

There’ll be no place for ‘Dad dancing’ at the Bandstand on Tuesday nights when the Kids Disco Party Nights return this July and August.

Kids Rule at the BandstandYoung pop fans can hit the dance floor from Tuesday 24 July, as the Bandstand becomes the place to go for kids to enjoy all the latest chart hits together with some family favourites.

DJ Oli will be providing the top tunes once again as the historic seafront venue becomes an open-air disco. Of course Mums and Dads are welcome too and they can join in, if their little ones will allow it, or simply watch from the side-lines and relax with a drink at the bar.

Eastbourne Borough Council Lead Cabinet Member for Tourism and Enterprise, Cllr Margaret Bannister said “We’re delighted to once again hold our regular Kids Disco nights at the Bandstand. They bring a real party atmosphere to the seafront venue and are definitely becoming the ‘must-do’ event of the school holiday calendar.”

Leo the Lifeguard will be joining in the fun each week, taking part in some lively dance-offs, leading the Bandstand conga and getting everyone involved in some crowd-pleasing party dance routines. There’s also free face painting each week from the Bandstand’s face painting artist.

Kids Disco Party Nights run every Tuesday from 7.30 – 8.30pm (doors open 7pm).

Tickets in advance cost £4 per adult and £5 per child, or £5 / £6 on the door.
