Pop Royalty to Grace the Bandstand Stage
26 September 2018
The pop and rock sounds of two of music’s most iconic bands will be heard from the Eastbourne Bandstand on the weekend of 5 and 6 October when tributes to global super groups Queen and ABBA perform at the seafront venue.

Queen need very little introduction, with estimates of record sales ranging from 150 million to 300 million records, they are one of the world's best-selling music artists.
With endless studies of the band’s live shows, Pure Queen’s lead singer Mark, has recreated the very essence of Freddie's stage charisma. The full live band also features a sensational tribute to the legendary rock guitarist Brian May too.
Saturday 6 October will be an evening of sensational Swedes, when ABBA Fever transport audiences back to the 70’s with a tribute to the music of ABBA. With an impressive back catalogue of sing-a-long favourites including ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘The Winner Takes it All’ and ‘SOS’ the music of ABBA continues to have an enduring popularity appealing to all ages.

Now in their 20th year, Abba Fever is one of the most successful touring live ABBA productions in the UK and Europe. With their authentic live vocals and costumes together with exciting choreography, the group put on a spectacular show which gets audiences to their feet night after night.
Tickets for both shows cost £7.95 in advance (child £5.95) and doors open at 7pm for an 8pm performance. Friends of Eastbourne Bandstand card holders receive 10% off their ticket.
